Psychotherapy
Our wonderful team of Psychotherapists offer talk therapy and counselling that can assist in day-to-day concerns and symptoms. They offer resources, tips, and support for a number of experiences and topics.
Psychology
Psychologists are trained to assess, diagnose and treat mental health conditions. They also provide evidence based psychological treatments and psychotherapies. Psychologists do not offer medication management.

Supervised Practitioners are Master level students completing their required practicum training hours prior to becoming fully registered as a Psychotherapist or Psychological Associate. Foundational components of their education have been completed permitting access to engage in one-to-one therapy work with clients. Our supervised practitioners are supervised by our Registered Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists at BeWell in order to complete their training before becoming accredited and fully registered.

She has almost four years of experience on the national suicide hotline working with individuals experiencing thoughts of suicide, suicidal attempts, and suicide loss. She has experience working with individuals exposed to the effects of severe trauma, involvement in the legal system, various kinds of behavioural disorders, and mental illnesses such as borderline personality disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, and schizophrenia.

Tulsi strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative therapeutic space where individuals feel heard and hopeful. Her work includes validating emotions, identifying, and highlighting strengths and collaboratively working on goals toward change and growth.
Tulsi adopts an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from various therapeutic models, including the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Strength-Based, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centred techniques, amongst others. She aims to help people better understand their thoughts, feelings,and emotions. She hopes to address unhelpful behaviours, highlighting effective coping mechanisms through Trauma-Informed practices.
Tulsi also offers couples therapy using an emotion focused approach, and supports couples with concerns around communication, strengthening emotions, establishing trust and improving their relationship.
Working from a culturally responsive lens, Tulsi works with individuals experiencing stress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar), borderline personality disorder, anger management, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, family conflict, emotional disturbances, and time-management.
Tulsi is fluent in English, Gujarati, Urdu, and Hindi.
Education: Tulsi is a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She has a Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Waterloo, a Social Services diploma in Gerontology from Sheridan College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Sabrina is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds more than 8 years of experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations in different non-profit settings.
Sabrina works with individuals who have experienced trauma, been affected by trauma or other significant events in their lives. She has supported both children and adults who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and other traumas, individuals who use substances, have experienced childhood trauma, have precarious housing situations, and are involved in the legal system. She has helped individuals who struggle with stress, ADHD, self-worth and esteem, life transitions, anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional regulation, relationship issues, and panic disorders.
At the core of her work, Sabrina utilizes a strength-based person-centred approach. Her guiding principles of practice consist of fostering a safe, non-judgmental, genuine, empathic, and unconditional positive regard environment for clients to explore their difficult situations and emotions.
Sabrina offers individual, couples, and family counselling and parental support. She uses a personalized, holistic and integrative therapeutic approach to counselling to alleviate pain and foster resilience and inner strength. Through our tailored approach, we help you process your emotions, develop coping strategies, and ultimately, rediscover a sense of hope and purpose. This includes understanding the connection between body and mind, along with other trauma-informed evidence-based modalities to support your understanding of self.
